Paver Maintenance

Maintenance and repair go hand in hand. It is important to maintain your pavers as repairing is much easier and cost effective rather than replacing the entire concrete surface

Here is a paver maintenance checklist:

◉ Inspect your paved areas regularly, particularly after harsh weather like rain or snow.

◉ Regularly sweep or pressure clean your paved surfaces, so as to remove materials and debris.

◉ If cracks or potholes appear, fill or replace your pavers immediately, to avoid further damage

◉ Sealing and resealing your pavers on a regular basis can also protect them from stain damage and the effects of high traffic usage

By maintaining your paved areas, you can extend the life span and overall appearance of the pavers. It can also help protect your pavers from needing too many repairs.

Following are the Paver Maintenance services we provide to help your pavers look world class and help you save money.

Paver Cleaning

Over a period of time your driveway gets stained, your patio, pool deck, and walkways will get littered with weeds and mildew. Stains, weeds, mildew, and efflorescence, can be such an eyesore and this is when you will need a pressure wash.

You may not have the machinery, expertise, or desire to clean it yourself. That’s where we come in. Our process begins by pretreating the area with chlorine to eliminate mold and algae. Then, all stains are treated with commercial grade chemicals. Finally, we use an 8-gallon-per-minute pressure washer to effectively clean the surface.

Re-Sanding Joints

When your paver joints are exposed they lead to moss, weed growth, insects and paver shifting. Paver joint re-sanding is effective in renewing the look of your paved surfaces, and keeping it structurally sound.

Our knowledgeable technicians will first clean the un-oriented joints and install polymeric sand that will prevent this issues and assure the best outcome for your pavers. The newly installed polymeric joint sand will not only keep your pavers intact for years to come but will also prevent them from the growth of moss weed and insects.

Stripping Failed Sealer

Brick Paver Sealers are different than regular concrete sealers in that they darken and enhance the appearance by giving a wet look and or shine. Unfortunately, Brick Paver Sealers sometimes fail by discoloring and turning milky white or yellow in color and will need to be chemically stripped to fix.

We apply the best in industry paver sealer stripper products and use a high-powered pressure washer to strip off the old sealer without any damage to the pavers.
